Ahli United Bank thanks its CSR volunteers for their efforts during COVID-19

In a gesture of appreciation and gratitude, Ahli United Bank (AUB) sent Certificates of Appreciation and Letters of Thanks to its corporate social responsibility (CSR) volunteer team who continued their work serving the Bank’s customers to meet their needs during the coronavirus pandemic.


AUB expressed its thanks to those sincere CSR volunteers for their dedication and sacrifice during such exceptional circumstances, especially for the tangible efforts made to ensure that health safety measures and procedures are followed optimally to protect both the Bank’s customers and employees.

Mrs. Sahar Dashti, General Manager Customer Protection, and the Head of AUB Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) team sent Letters of Appreciation to the CSR volunteers who continued carrying out their functions under extremely difficult circumstances, and expressing the Bank's gratitude for their role and valuable contribution during this outbreak of COVID-19, stressing that their effort was praised by the Bank’s management, noting the commitment and dedication of those heroes as a key part of the Bank’s social responsibility role in combating COVID-19, and a key factor in maintaining the Bank’s position among its customers.


Dashti added in her address to the volunteers “Your positive spirit in managing the customers at the branches is very inspiring. Ensuring that all health precautions are applied was a challenge as it is something new to us & to customers as well, but I was truly impressed with your abilities to implement such measures. As I told you before, If the world becomes a better place tomorrow, it will happen because of volunteers like you”. Please accept these Certificates of Appreciation as a simple recognition from the Bank for your priceless contribution”.


She stated that the bank appreciates and values its human resource who volunteered and worked in the frontlines in these challenging circumstances. And such appreciation motivates and increases employees’ loyalty.


In conclusion, Dashti wished all sectors operating in the frontlines success in facing COVID-19, asking God Almighty to safeguard and protect Kuwait and the whole world from this pandemic.
