AUB sponsors the graduation ceremony of the 2nd & 3rd batches of trainees with determination

In its continuous support for the people with determination, Ahli United Bank)AUB) announced its sponsorship of the graduation ceremony for the 2nd & 3rd batches of trainees with determination as part of the “Partners to Employ Them” campaign launched by the Public Authority for Disability Affairs (PADA) in strategic cooperation with Human Construction Institute. The ceremony was held under the patronage of the Minister of Health, Dr. Khaled Al-Saeed, and was attended by a group of diplomats, ambassadors, members of the National Assembly, and leaders of government and private agencies that support the recruitment of the disabled people giving them the opportunity to merge into society.

On this occasion, Mr. Naqeeb Amin; General Manager, Human Resources at AUB said: Ahli United Bank has been at the forefront in supporting the “Partners to Employ Them” campaign since its launch in 2018, based on the Bank’s strong belief in the importance of this campaign as the first initiative of its kind in Kuwait. This campaign aims to qualify, train and employ the disabled and merge them into society as contributors to the State's development plan.

Amin highlighted that AUB took the initiative and employed a number of the people with determination as part of the “Partners to Employ them” campaign. Amin underlined that this initiative not only provides the opportunity for the disabled to support them overcome any obstacles in the way of their merge into society, but also aims to benefit from their energies. This initiative has opened the door for them to participate in building our homeland. This is what we have already seen through recruiting the people with determination who actually have remarkable ability to work and give.

Amin extended sincere thanks to all the parties that contributed to providing job opportunities for the disabled, including acting General Manager of the Public Authority for Disability Affairs; Mrs. Hanadi Al-Mabelish and the Director of the Institute of Human Construction for Training, Eng. Awatef Al-Salman, underscoring that AUB administration is keen to contribute to Any initiative targeted at supporting the disabled people.

The Head of Social Media & CSR at AUB Mrs. Faten Al-Tamimi; expressed her pleasure for the Bank’s sponsorship of this ceremony, indicating that the Bank’s CRS program pays great attention to supporting all segments of society, foremost among them the disabled who need our solidarity and sincere efforts to help them merge into society just like other members.

Al-Tamimi emphasized that the joy and gratitude on the faces of the disabled people was the best expression of the importance of this ceremony, which we hope to participate in many times to come, and to see an active role for the disabled in all institutions, as they are truly great underlying forces, that we must take advantage of in serving our country.

Al-Tamimi draw attention to AUB concern to sponsor many events that serve the disabled. She also mentioned that AUB has equipped a number of its branches to serve the disabled customers, to facilitate their access to banking services, and continuously trains a number of its employees to be able to deal with customers with determination.
